Ella's Turn

It's almost time for our annual Spring Fling! Remember the fun times we had in 2010, and then in 2011, and last year in 2012? The children have been eagerly learning about spring and bunnies and eggs and tomorrow the morning preschool class will be dying hard-boiled eggs! The party is on Wednesday, and all of the children made their bunny hats in preschool except for Ella.

Ella's been joining the afternoon preschool class for song-time. She's not physically up to the whole class... that would involve her at least being able to sit up on her own, but she sure does love music, and so we figured that the added stimulation could only be of benefit to her. She is two years-old, after all, the age when our little ones begin preschool

Last Thursday, the day when the preschool class made their bunny hats, Ella missed class. After her afternoon therapy session, a yummy snack and her nebulizer treatment, Ella was exhausted and decided to take a nap. Oh well. Sometimes she sleeps through class... that's okay.

We had a set of ears set aside for Ella, so she made her hat today. She needed some help holding the pen to decorate her hat...

Doesn't she look adorable? Ella has been making some tiny yet mighty improvements lately. It's wonderful to see her so alert and happy. We couldn't quite catch her smile on camera today, but it does indeed exist!

There are dozens of pictures of the other children making their hats on the scrapbook and in our facebook album. Check it out!

And then watch our silly bunnies in action...
