So it's been a busy day today... we have three new little ones that joined our foster home family today. Hong Shuang, Jenna, and Anton. It's always an exciting, yet scary, time when children first arrive. Usually we're the ones who are excited and they're the ones who are scared. When we see pictures like this, we can't wait to see what the "after" picture will look like several months down the road...
That's Hong Shuang, right after she arrived today... And now for just for a little bit of fun, here's a video of Timothy practicing his somersault. He's pretty cute!

Also, we have a new style of scrapbook page over on our website. While we know you'll love the adorable pictures, we'd like to know what you think of the album... Like it? Love it? Hate it? Do you prefer old style or new style? We're interested in your thoughts as we consider making this a long-term change.
And, we'll end on some more cute pictures of Lindsey with her foster mom. Those cheeks! Don't know about you, but we can't get enough of those cheeks. And her smile! She's one adorable little tiger.
OK, seriously, Linsey is ADORABLE. Simply the cutest little thing I've ever seen. She just oozes joy! Can I take her home? ;) Do you want to start New Day USA? :)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how difficult it is for children to transition to New Day, but oh how I praise God that they have NO IDEA how completely blessed they are.....I can't wait to see their transformation as well!!!!
PS- I LOVED the new format for the scrapbook!
ReplyDeleteWelcome new ones!!! We look forward to watching you grow! As for the new scrapbook, I loved it once I figured out how to make it work. I'm not exactly computer savvy, but I did learn based on the instructions you provided. :) And the pictures were just hard to beat!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the new style for scrapbook page!
ReplyDeleteLindsey is so cute! love those cheeks!
What good somersaults, Timothy! I love that giggle!
Hong Shuang, Jenna, and Anton, soon you will know you are safe and loved.
oh me....that infectious giggling! My 13 yr. old is behind me exclaiming, "Oh, I was there! Oh, I met him! And I met him!" as children come into view. I can't describe how much more meaningful looking at pics and video is now that we've BEEN there. It also comes with an ache in our hearts to COME BACK!
ReplyDeleteThe new children that arrived are just precious. There photos definitely speak of how frightened they are now. But that just causes me to think of children like little Hannah and how wonderful she is doing now...how quickly she 'blossomed' in the hands of your care at ND. They are indeed so blessed to be there and I can't wait to see their 'after' photos, too!! :)
ReplyDeleteI do like the new format of the scrapbook. The only negative to me is that they won't allow me to copy or safe any of the pictures onto my computer like the old style did. But other than that, I like the larger photos of those precious kiddos! Have a blessed Easter weekend! <><
It will be so fun to see the absolute joy in Hong's eyes in a few months, after she's been bathed in a lot of prayers and a little New Day lovin'.
ReplyDeleteI have NEVER seen cheeks as chubby as Lindsey's. So cute. Those are the best kissing and zerbert kind too!
Love the new album. It'll take some getting used to, but it's neat.
Love the new album and bigger photo format. (I couldn't save them to my computer before either but could and can still capture a screen shot and then crop them in Preview or Photoshop.) Oh and the new children ... precious! Hong Shuang's look is melting! I'm like a big puddle of melted chocolate in the sunshine here. I can't wait for confidence and security and love to shoo away the scared feelings! (I can only imagine all they are feeling right now!) But how blessed to be at ND.
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing ND will be to your three new children! I can't wait to see them bloom along with spring!
ReplyDeleteI thought the new format was neat, but I'm not sure I'd like it all the time as "the" format. I loved being able to right click and save pictures of the kids we have sponsored. I'd miss that capability.
Love the new format! Can't copy the pics though...which is a bummer as I love the one of Matthias...handsome boy!
ReplyDeleteWelcome three new little ones...God bless you!
Love Lindsey SOOOOOOOO much! So absolutely amazing!
