Mason and Gabriel

Due to Mason's recent heart surgery causing some delays in his motor development, he and Gabriel are at around the same developmental level. They've been working on rolling and crawling, in between lots of sleeping and eating!

Zoey (PT) jumped at the chance to add these lovely little boys to her therapy timetable- we're so lucky to be able to work with children of all ages in therapy and change the activities and goals accordingly.

Both boys are responding really well to the extra help with moving, and at this rate will be crawling and probably walking in no time! The other day when I was in the baby room, Mason and Edward were relaxing together on the floor.  Mason decided to show off some of his new found rolling skills and rolled up to Edward to give him a pat on the head! Later, when I saw Gabriel in the toddler room he was trying with all his might to crawl to a rattle a little out of his reach- it won't be long Gabriel, keep trying!

Its so encouraging to watch these two boys develop and make progress; to see the benefit that surgery, love and lots of care has in their lives.
