Therapy Tuesday: Walking Together

Having three therapists working with different children at the same time within our therapy room means it can be easy to get distracted by something fun happening in the room! This can often work to our advantage, as both children practice the same skill or Lilian integrates a communication skill into the activity.

Talley and Austyn make a surprising combination, but they seem to enjoy being in therapy together. Both are practising walking- Austyn is making great progress in the big walker, and Talley is doing well walking with her hands held.

Austyn's walker looked like a fun way to get about to Talley and so she held on and together they set off across the room. Both seemed pretty happy about this arrangement- Austyn loves his new found freedom in the walker, and laughs loudly when he bangs into the wall or door! Talley enjoys hearing different sounds, and so to hear him laugh so loudly made her happy too- what a great pair these two make!

We managed to get a video so you can also join in on the fun!
