{Fill their Stockings} @ New Day North!

The weather up here in Inner Mongolia is starting to get frightful...
But, inside our foster home, the smiles are so delightful!
And, since we really have no place to go,
Let's start preparing for Christmas!

Last year our amazing sponsors came through and totally overwhelmed us with all of the Christmas blessings that they sent to the little ones. It's time to start thinking about this Christmas, which is less than two months away!

Shipping a package overseas is quite expensive, but this year I (Hannah) will be flying to China the beginning of December, and will have space to bring Christmas goodies for each of our kiddos!

UPDATE: all of the little ones have someone sending them a package. Thank you! Scroll down for more opportunities to make our Christmas merry and bright.

We know how precious it is to care for the needy and the fatherless during the Christmas season. We know how much you love involving your children in caring for orphans around the holidays; and we want everyone to have an opportunity to bless the most vulnerable!

So here's what we have going on...

Who: A "stocking sponsor" can be a family, individual, church group, business, etc. who wants to make a donation towards our work in honor of someone, or just because it's Christmas.

What will you use the money for? We will use the funds for both general operating costs, and throwing a Christmas party for the children and staff.

What makes this unique? I will have paper stockings on which I will put your picture and we will hang those up in the children's rooms. This will be a bright and cheery way to bless the kiddos at New Day North, and include your children/family/community in the exciting work of orphan care.

The foster home is going to look so festive with all of the stockings hung up by the sofa with care, don't you think?

How: Become a Stocking Sponsor by making a donation of any amount right HERE. And then send me (hannah@newdaycreations.com) a quick note to let me know that you did, and include a picture if you'd like.

Ready?

...it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

  1. When do we find out/ask to send Christmas to the child we sponsor?
