NDSouth: 2013 Blessings

Happy New Year of 2014! The year 2013 flew by and was a year full of miracles, life changing surgeries, and adoptions here at New Day South. This past year we had 6 adoptions and 7 new children join our New Day South family, one of which has already been adopted! 

Thank you so much to all of you who have been a part of our work here. We would not be able to make such a difference in the lives of these children if it weren't’t for you! Take a look at our 2013 additions…

Chris arrived in January at just one month of age. It has been such a blessing to watch this little one grow and thrive!

Hayden also arrived in January, just before Chinese New Year. He was shy, withdrawn, and sad. It has been a miracle watching his little personality unfold. Hayden has made huge strides in 2013 and we anticipate even greater ones in 2014. 

Sadie arrived at New Day South in April. She was nervous and anxious. In the months she has been with us, she has learned to trust and not only to love, but to also be loved.

Sally also arrived in April, the same day as Sadie. Sally has had surgery and gone through a lot medically. She has blossomed and grown into such a beautiful and independent little girl!

Charlie arrived at just a little over a month in July. He was tiny, sick, and we knew he would need a miracle. He got that miracle and is doing so well today! Would you look at those cheeks?!

Noelle is our newest arrival, joining us in October. Her time with us has been a whirlwind with surgery and hospitalizations. She has been through so much in her short life and we anticipate 2014 to be a very big year for this little sweetie.

We are thankful for each child that we have had the privilege of caring for this past year. We are excited to see what 2014 has in store.
