At almost 3 ½ years of age, Jonah is our oldest child at New Day South. He started preschool in March and absolutely LOVES it! Every time his preschool teacher walks into the foster home (even if it’s the weekend), he will shout “School! School!” and point to the classroom. He loves to learn and would attend school every day / all day long if we would let him! He also picked up English very quickly.
One of his favorite parts of preschool is music class. Whether it’s singing, playing instruments, or just listening to music while we play, he loves it.
Did we mention how bright he is? He can count to 10 in English, knows most of his colors, days of the week, animals, and is learning the months and seasons.
It has been such a blessing to see this little boy blossom and begin to reach his potential. Our dream for each of our children is for them to join forever families, and we know that one day Jonah will be such a joy and a blessing to his. We cannot wait for that day!
