Hands We Can Trust

The phone rang in the office earlier this week. It was one of the hospitals we work with, but they weren't calling about a child's medical case... they were calling the PR department because they wanted to schedule a visit. This amazing hospital, with whom we have worked with for quite a while, was interested in bringing 30 of their doctors and nurses to see our facility, to see who we were.

We can't begin to describe how indebteded we are to hospitals like these. Some of their most difficult cases come from us, yet they embrace the challenge that these precious orphans bring them. They don't do chartiy work with us, we would never ask for that, but they have agreed to take on some rather ill children and do their best to make them whole.

It's under their skilled hands that we have often placed our children, begging them to "do whatever it takes, just give them a chance." They have done what it took, and for that we are thankful.
