A Final Goodbye

We had a memorial service for Tristan last Friday afternoon.  It was a time of both tears and smiles as we remembered Tristan.  We know Tristan's life mattered and made an impact on many people -- we could see the effect he had in the room as everyone shared stories and poems.  It was a sad time, but hopeful as well... it was beautiful to see a little orphan remembered.

We wish all of you could have joined us in this special time... so we took some pictures to share the service with you.

  1. I seen the photos of the memorial service. It is easy to see how difficult it was, but also healing at the same time. I'm so touched by this, knowing that he had the 'fair well' service that he so deserved by those who knew and loved him the most. God bless you all! <><

  2. I just looked at the pictures of the service. It was so moving to get a small glimpse of how very much Tristan was loved. So nice to know that he knew all that love before he moved into the arms of the one who loves him the most.

  4. oh how unfair life seems sometimes. I could not go on if not for the knowledge of the Savior and that the grave has been conquered!
Tristan's life was a blessing and I can't wait to meet him someday!

  6. Such a beautiful little boy. The picture of the nannies carrying his picture made me break down in tears.

  7. What a beautiful send off for precious Tristan. My tears are flowing in sadness for his passing but also with joy knowing where he is now. The love that all at New Day showed him in his short life here on earth is Heaven sent.
