Looks Like Christmas

We've decked our halls, and they definitely feel more cheery! That's the upside. The downside is that we'll be spending a lot of time reminding a large group of orally-inquisitive toddlers that the pretty, shiny things hanging on the tree are not good to eat.

Oh well, isn't that what a Christmas tree means in any house with little ones?

You can see more pictures of our decorating day over on the foster home's scrapbook.

  1. Sweet sweet babies! They all look dazzled by the decorations! Words cannot express the gratefulness I have in my heart for New Day. It brings me such peace this Christmas knowing Kevin is in such a wonderful place...more than wonderful! Even though we feel a void with him not helping us decorate our tree, we are overjoyed he gets to decorate a tree with his New Day family. You all are in our prayers everyday...and in a sense, you are all a part of our family now too!
Sending hugs to you all from Alabama....

  3. I am so happy to know that you guys have Christmas trees to help bring some Christmas festivity! How incredibly cute to see those little guys decorating too! (Love the one of Samuel or course. I'm so glad he got to help too!) All the scrapbook shots are so wonderful in letting us glimpse the event ... even if they made quick work of it! I can only imagine all those little hands on the ornaments though. Oh my!

  4. Oh Carrie! Do share what Christmas is like in China...how do the locals celebrate? Is it still a holiday for non-believers? And how?

  6. I love the Christmas pictures! They made me want to buy a plane ticket for the second I'm finished with school for the semester. It's amazing to see how much Khloe and the other children have grown from last Christmas! Merry Christmas and good luck keeping those ornaments on the tree!
