Seeing Milestones while Moving Forward

Since three children with special needs entered our Critical Care Unit the end of June, the total number of children in all NDFH projects has reached 100!

For us, this is exciting news and a gratifying milestone.

Since the establishment of NDFH in 2000, we are grateful for the opportunity to have a platform to serve orphans and disabled children.

Recent Goals and Visions

Doing our best to bring hope

healing and families to children in need.

Improve knowledge and skills in caring for children.

Children and foster parents have established close relationships.

In the Savannah, Little Deer and foster family projects, the number of special needs children has increased from 12 to 50. We have improved their lives with:

Daily rehabilitation

The nannies tell stories to the children every day.

Special training and support for caregivers.

Cooperate with various organizations to provide additional training.

Link social groups and volunteer team resources to allow more people to participate in caring for the needs of orphans, disabled children and children in difficult situations, enabling the children to receive more support and different experiences.

Children go on outings and study tours in the company of volunteer teams.

2022

Eleos Project

Since the beginning of 2022, the number of beneficiaries has increased to 50; visits to families and children in difficult situations brings companionship, encouragement and support.

2024

New Critical Care Unit

The CCU focuses on children with special medical needs or failure to thrive. In just two weeks, we received news of the children's weight gain, and we are sincerely happy.

Moving forward in gratitude

Along the way, we have experienced difficulties and challenges——

Beside the child's bed, the nanny kept watch all night.

On the way to visit a family, we waded through deep snow and endured the hot summer, but we were undeterred by wind and rain.

Facing some sudden changes, sometimes we feel powerless.

But——if we see the smiling face of the child, we know that everything we do is worth it.

Sometimes we receive extra rewards by seeing traces of love in the child, emotions and love in their eyes that can be read without words.

As time goes by, seeing the beauty of the child's life changing is the greatest reward.

While sharing the joy of growth with us, I hope you will join our work-to bring changes to lives with love!
