Report from September

Savannah Project and Little Deer Project

Currently provides nurturing and care services to 46 orphans with special needs in two local orphanages.

(1) Love is in every moment of persistence

It’s not difficult to do something, the hard thing is to keep doing it every day.

Daily Therapy

Exercise makes me healthier. Thank you, mom, for your love and companionship.

Teaching Time

One-on-one time is what every child especially enjoys and needs.

(2) Sharing is joy

Enoch is sharing delicious fruit he picked with Violet and Asher.

The new bike helps me go faster.

(3) Monthly educational activities

Snack order game

Through the "Snack Sequencing Game", children's observation and logical thinking abilities can be exercised. Children can find sorting methods and are required to sort the items. Snacks can increase children's participation.

Theodore, Samuel, and Gabriel watch/listen to the learning video for a while before lunch

Mom also went to study.

Some of our nannies were honored to have the opportunity to participate in a training course for caregivers of orphans and disabled children. Combined with actual work, the teacher taught the key points of basic knowledge such as daily care, health care and nursing, psychological counseling, and rehabilitation and parenting. This training enhanced our nanny’s understanding of health care and prevention of diseases.

Caregivers for orphans and disabled children not only undertake the daily care and nursing work of orphans and disabled children, but also assist professionals in rehabilitation, education, health services and other tasks. As a caregiver, you must be caring, careful, patient, and responsible to promote the high-quality development of child welfare by improving your professional level.

 (4) Children’s daily life

Nolan returned home after surgery.

Nolan, who underwent cleft lip surgery, was extremely happy when he returned. The little guy loves to drink milk. When he plays on his stomach, he touches the patterns on the sheets with his fingers, and even "chats" with his nanny!

Brothers and sisters under the sun

The weather is nice, let's go out and bask in the sun. Children love nature, and they are especially adorable in the sun!

Look at the "doll.” Can we play together?

Logan returned with his parents to see us!

Stars are shining brightly, and the children who once lived together are shining new stars in each other's lives. Wishing you all the best!

Elizabeth can put on her own shoes on now.

Elizabeth brought her nanny her shoes and wanted her to help her put on her shoes. Her mother smiled and said, “Can Elizabeth put on her shoes by herself?” She then went to take Emerson out of the wheelchair first. When she looked back, Elizabeth had already put on her shoes, and proudly shouted "Mom, look at me!"

Mia and Ben’s foster family went to the park for a day of fun.

(5) Eight days of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day fun

The children held activities to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in the courtyard. They had fun eating and playing.

Joy leads the dance in the school's Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.

(6) Fundraising activities

On September 10th, an outdoor charity market was held to raise funds for the children.

Eleos Project

During September’s visit the team issued scholarships and education materials and clothing to 12 children who we fund in the Qingshuihe area. It will also be an opportunity to see how they all are doing.

Family Visits

Xiaolong and his sister Xiaoyi had to remain at boarding school during the weekend and could not go home. Their mother said that she missed her children very much. To relieve her feelings, we went to the school to visit them and bought some snacks for them. Xiaolong and her sister were very happy.

Xiaoxin's sponsor bought her new clothes and shoes. We went to her boarding dormitory to give them to her and let her model them for us. She was very happy to receive them.

Xiaoying had just started junior high school. Due to inconvenient transportation, she can’t go home on weekends because there was no one to pick her up. Moreover, her mother had a serious illness and had just recovered after being hospitalized. After understanding the situation, we made a special trip to Xiaoying's school. After meeting her, we patiently chatted with her and relieved some of the pressure she was facing in the new environment, school, classmates, etc.

Shuyao received the rehabilitation chair in early September and began to perform daily exercises according to the teacher's guidance.

Thank you for your attention, we believe that life is changed by love!
