Hug me! (A story about Titus)

After training the staff on Infection control early in December. Cyrus' nanny told the team leader that she noticed Cyrus had some symptoms of a cold- runny nose and coughing. So they decided to separate him from the other kids to prevent it from spreading.

That evening, his nanny had him stay in his crib while she did activities with the other kids. Of course Cyrus was not happy with this! He wanted to join in the fun, so he kept walking back and force in his crib mumbling.

After a while, the nanny saw Titus move his little stool towards Cyrus' crib, climb on it and start hugging Cyrus.

His nanny asked him, "What are you doing, Titus?"

"Mama!” Titus said, “Ta shuo yao baobao!" (“Mama He said, ‘I want a hug.’”)

The nanny's heart melted and she hugged them both and kissed their cheeks.

We were touched by Titus' sweet heart for Cyrus. We also know where he got the spirit of caring for his little brother. His needs are met every time he cries for help so he has learned to response to others needs even though he is just 2 years old!

We are so thankful for the loving environment provided for by our caring nannies. It builds a strong foundation of the value of life in our kid’s hearts.

Love is a beautiful thing in every form.
