Transformation Tuesday: Enya

This was the day that she first arrived...

Enya has been with us for just over two years.  When she arrived, she was an almost-four-year-old with a serious expression, adjusting to the huge change from her life in the orphanage that she'd known since she was just a few months old.

It was such a joy to see her start to smile, and to watch her experience new things...

Enya was able to move out to live with a local foster-family soon after her arrival, and for the last two years she has been blossoming under the tender care of her foster-mama.

Her foster-brother, Hudson, is just a year younger than her, and they have so much fun together.

The pretty face and gentle nature of this little lady has won the hearts of many around the world, and we have had many inquiries about her.  You can read this post about our role in the adoption process; in summary, we don't have a role.  We do, however, provide the best care that we can while the children wait for their forever families.

Enya will not be waiting too much longer for her forever family!  We have heard that she will be leaving soon; it will be a time of huge change for her, and for the foster-family that she will leave behind, but we know that it's what she needs.

We wish Enya all the very best for her new life.  What a privilege it has been to know her!

  3. As I watch these beautiful children grow through these pictures, it is easy to get attached to many of them. I praise God that He has found a forever family for this sweet child and I am so glad that He picks each child and family to be perfectly matched. As I wait for our child to be matched to us, I pray for that perfect match and for that transition to be smooth and quick. "Lord help Enya to feel comfortable and happy with her new family. Help her to attach quickly; help her to understand. Thank you Lord for you love for these children!"
