All About...Austyn

This August, Austyn will have been here at New Day Foster Home for almost three years, and in the same month we will also celebrate his 9th birthday.  He's featured in a large number of blog posts, all of which can be seen by clicking his name label on the right-hand side of this blog.  You can read this post about his progress inside and outside the therapy room, this post about when he was learning to walk, and this post about him hitting some big milestones last summer, including some (small but significant) breakthroughs in communication.

If you are a regular reader of our blog, you may have figured out that there is usually a reason for an 'All About...' post. We have been told that an adoption agency now has Austyn's file, and he also being featured on the Reece's Rainbow website.  We have been told that his adoption file describes his significant developmental delays, as well as his more visible diagnosis of albinism.

Austyn needs a family.  The right family; a family that will love and accept him just as he is now, while believing and hoping and working hard to help him reach his unlimited potential.

Austyn's adoption file is with CAWLI (email info@cawli.org).
This link will take you to his Reece's Rainbow page, where you can help Austyn and his future family by donating towards the costs of his adoption.
