Violet's Butterfly

The other day we had a special visitor at the foster home.

Violet was really interested in this special little creature. Happily, it was just as interested in her!

Gloria, our preschool teacher, told her about the butterfly and how she came out of a cocoon. She points out the delicate wings and explains that butterflies drink from flowers.

Looks like this butterfly found the most special flower of all!  Fortunately for Violet, it was content to sit for awhile before flying off into the cool afternoon.
