A Friend Like Lukas

Can you believe that Lukas has been here at New Day for almost two years?  Since he was this small? He will celebrate his third birthday this Summer, and he is becoming very grown-up.

It's exciting when kids learn to walk and to talk, but another wonderful development is when they increasingly show care and concern for others.  On our recent field-trip, Lukas wanted to help his buddy Nelson to drink some water.

Look at Lukas' lips!  These boys are such a sweet pair.

Gideon is just a little older than Lukas, and we spotted the two of them sharing a joke about their sticky hands when we were picking strawberries.

From an adorable baby to a friendly, caring young man; Lukas, you are delightful.
