NDNorth: Clap Those Hands

New Day Beijing recently shipped us a box of musical instruments. There were bells, plastic saxophones (?), tambourines, kazoos, and a bunch of these fun "hand-clappers."

Timothy was feeling a little bit bored. It was past breakfast time, snack was over, and it wasn't time for lunch yet. What's a boy to do?

His nanny gave him a set of clappers. Timothy gave them a little shake...

The combination of vibrations, sounds, and motions that the clappers made clicked somehow with Timothy. He figured out how to flip his wrist back and forth and lit up with the most happy smile.

Hannah worked on her sitting and stretches while Timothy shook and clapped, and clapped and shook his new favorite toy.

He got so excited that he almost shimmied right out of his bumbo seat!

The video we got of him clapping is sure to make you grin big.

Timothy may not be able to clap his own hands quite yet, but that's not going to stop him. Let's give him a big round of applause!
