NDNorth: Meet Emerson

Emerson is one of the most patient 3 year old boys you could ever meet. His sweet quiet personality doesn't grab attention, but his spunk instantly comes out with smiles and giggles when he is interacted with.

One of the first times he was supported in a chair and given a board book, Emerson seemed to burst into life, pointing to things in the book and jabbering.

It even seemed that he was initiating making animal noises in correlation with animals in the book! Emerson has to work hard at everything because of his weak muscles but is a happy, easygoing little guy and enjoys opportunities he is given to explore and play and grow.
