Bing Bing arrived at New Day South in June of this year.
Originally she arrived with Polly (another one of our little ones) with the intention that they would only be here temporarily for medical care.
However, as Polly's and Bing Bing's surgeries were completed, we became smitten. So though it probably goes without saying, when the time for them to return to their orphanage came, we just weren't ready to say goodbye. While knowing that we had room for them to stay on full time, we simply couldn't help but decide to not say goodbye after all.
And boy, are we ever glad about that!
Bing Bing has really come into her own over the last few months. From her darling smile to her increasing expressiveness, our hearts never really stood a chance, did they?
We've speculated to ourselves before that Bing Bing has a royal air about her. With her distinctive facial features and strong desire to be held close, we were pretty convinced that she was our little princess; perfectly deserving of being adored.
In recent weeks, we've noticed her becoming more and more curious about the world around her while gaining an increasing desire for independence. She's been rolling around and spending plenty of time getting stronger while on her tummy. Who knows, maybe one day soon she'll be crawling?
Of course, we don't want to get too ahead of ourselves. We're not so sure that we're ready for this little princess to be so grown up quite yet.
Ps. Did you know that since Polly and Bing Bing are going to be staying with us full time that they are also available for sponsorship now? If you're interested in sponsoring either of them, then go HERE.
May I ask what medical condition Bing Bing has or had? She is just precious!!! :) We have a Bing Bing of our own now known as Olivia, but she still is affectionally called BingBing :)
