It's truly amazing really that our 'little' Noelle isn't so little anymore...
...and while we've mentioned before that we've gotten to see much happen in her life over the year that she's been here, we recently got to witness another milestone for this precious girl. Shortly before her 2nd birthday, which was last week (Can you believe it? Us either!), Noelle made a very big move. In fact, she moved all the way from our upstairs apartment where our babies reside to the downstairs apartment that our big kids call home.
It's hard for us to believe how quickly she's growing up, but as she was approaching two, we knew it was true. Noelle was ready to roll with the big kids.
Of course, we weren't completely sure what Noelle would think about her new home and so we all eagerly anticipated her reaction, but with a big sister like Lulu, how could she not adjust quickly?
From Noelle's very first night downstairs on, Lulu stuck by her new little sister's side as she showed her all the toys and fun things to be done.
From new snacks...
...to new toys...
... to participating in morning preschool, we think Noelle quickly decided that moving downstairs wasn't going to be so bad after all. In fact, we think she decided it to be downright fun!
Oh Noelle, you're such a special girl, and as you spend your coming days with the other big kids, we can't wait to see how you continue to grow!
You're going to do great with all your new brothers and sisters, we just know it.

Dear sweet Noelle, the "big kids" apartment seems to suit you. I love your smile! I just wanted to take a moment and let you know how deeply you are loved. My husband and I were called to adopt while looking at your picture. We have been praying over you ever since. As we journey down this path of adoption we would be honored if the Lord saw fit to bring you into our home. We love you sweet girl!
