NDSouth: Hair Cuts

It's that time again... haircuts! We are blessed to have a local hair salon willing to cut our children's hair for free. As if that weren't exciting enough, it's even better because it's within walking distance! Last week, we took a walk to get hair cuts.

Sadie and Leila are obviously excited about their outing.

Leila wasn't quite so sure about this whole pampering thing, but she was a brave girl and did not cry.

Fisher was also a brave little boy. He has come a long way since his first haircut where he would cry through the whole thing. After his recent hair cut, he said in English, "Fisher no cry!" Yes Fisher, we are very proud of you.

Sadie's hair finally grew in after her surgery back in the fall and she was ready for a style. Doesn't she look darling?

Hayden was okay as long as he was in his nanny's arms. Needless to say, he was not a fan.

Out of the five children we brought, only one was upset. Not too bad! We will strive for them all to be happy next time!

  1. Haircuts terrified me as a child. Quite aside from having shiny, sharp things near my head, our local barber had this vacuum gizmo hooked up to his clippers that made no end of racket while he was cutting hair.

    The children are adorable.
