Christopher's Big Day

Cora passed Christopher off into Alice's arms...

...and then they both waved bye-bye. 

Christopher was a bit nervous, but he felt safe in his mama's arms and knew that she would look after him. 

Then they both got into the waiting car, ready to take them to the hospital.

Christopher is ready for his second heart surgery and a bed has become available. His surgery hasn't been scheduled yet, that's up to the surgeon's schedule, but the policy here in China is to admit first, then schedule surgery. We hope that Christopher won't have to wait long. 

Have a good time in the hospital, Christopher, and stay healthy! We can't wait to see you when you come home, all recovered from your surgery. Don't stay away long!
