Creepy Crawlies

After the rain the bugs come out. That's just how it is! On their way to lunch the other day the toddlers came across one of their favorite things: snails. 

Seriously. These kids LOVE finding snails.

Rachel collected a whole handful.

Isaac and Rebecca were very serious snail-hunters. 

Jonathan found one a little bit out of his reach...

After the children had gathered just about every snail they could reach, their attention was happily distracted by a colorful bug on a leaf. Jonathan was the first to get close. 

He and Rebecca were very interested.

What a face! Maybe she'll grow up to be an entomologist? 

 Isaac was the most hesitant of the bunch. His nanny tried to encourage him to touch just the leaf, and eventually he did, but it took a lot of encouragement.

Creepy crawlies can be a little, uh... creepy, but they can also be a whole lot of fun!
