A Bicycle Built For Two

Someone donated a bunch of new bikes for the children to use. We're already putting a lot of ware on them, taking them on fieldtrips and biking around and around the backyard. The older children love to push each other around, which is great because we don't have enough bikes for each of them!

Alea and Isaac are roommates, which means that they're good friends and double trouble. In order to keep her eye on both of them, their nanny put them on the same bicycle.

Isaac wasn't terribly excited about his passenger, but Alea was thrilled. She loves the backseat.

Are you singing A Bicycle Built for Two in your head yet?

Alea, Alea, give me your answer, do,
I'm half crazy all for the love of you.
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage,
But you'd look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two.

That's all for now, folks!
