NDSouth: Meet Charlie!

Last Thursday afternoon, July 4th, we received a phone call. A one month old baby boy was abandoned that morning and brought to the local orphanage. The orphanage quickly realized that he had a similar situation as another one of their children, Marshall at New Day South (read Marshall's Amazing Story!). They knew right away that they were unable to give him the medical care he so desperately needed to live and the orphanage director immediately called us to us to see if we would help. 

We met Charlie later that evening in a hospital in Guangzhou where he was immediately admitted into NICU. Charlie is a sweet, baby boy who is only 2 kg. He may be small, but he has a huge desire to live and we are greatful to play a roll in his life and can't wait to watch his story unfold.

We are all anxiously awaiting the day when Charlie will be released and come home where we can give him the love and nurturing he so desperately needs. Welcome to the New Day South family, Charlie!

Charlie's arrival is very significant at New Day South as he is the 20th child we have had in our care!
