A Tiger and a LaoHu

All was cheerful-sounding on the playground, until suddenly, as if out of nowhere, a roar was heard.

And then another one, and another one... "Roooar! Roaaar! Rooaaar!" Who could it be? Who was making these sounds? Looking towards the playground equipment, we saw William, standing at the top of the stairs, staring Mollie down... and roaring with a sound that came deep from inside his chest.

Mollie didn't seem bothered or fazed at all as William roared with all of his might.

A few minutes later, there was Lily joining William on the platform. Her roar was a lot more meek-sounding, but it still held authority. "Roar!" She said. "What are you two doing," I asked Lily. "我是老虎 " she said, and then" 他是tiger!" If you understand Chinese, then you're probably cracking up right now. "I am a tiger" she said, and "he is a tiger!" Apparently, Lily is a Chinese tiger (a lao hu) and William is an English one.

William stared down upon Holly...

Eventually, there was a line on the playground steps. The kids weren't actually waiting their turn to go up to slide, lining up just looked like a lot of fun and everybody wants to be roared at by Tiger William, right?

Have a wonderful weekend, everybody! And don't forget to check out our latest scrapbook: 200th Adoption - All Three of Them.

We're also excited to announce that Tabitha has been matched with a forever family, and Joseph (who was matched a few weeks ago) has been re-named Xander. What exciting news!
