We passedthe time by singing songs that he had learned in preschool. He knows all the words and even taught me some new songs. He loves to sing and do the motions. He also thought it was funny to put on his reading glasses (my sunglasses) and read my passport. He is so imaginative and he liked to make up funny names for us.
He laughed, smiled, and joked the whole way home. I don’t know how he had so much energy after a busy day swimming. Going to the water park was fun and exciting but the time I spent with Philip on the bus truly warmed my heart.
Sometimes it is the unplanned and unexpected moments that can make the biggest impact.

I grew up with a Piper, an adorable girl, so I'm already biased. . . but, either way, this was a touching post. How lovely, this connection.
