Just Enough

It snowed here in Beijing today! There wasn't a lot of it, just enough for all of the children (and staff!) to enjoy.

The littler ones watched it from the playroom window - faces smooshed up against the glass.

Alex, Serena and Hannah decided to turn today into a snow day. They even built a snowman! Somehow the dusting of snow added up, and they were able to create two big balls...

...which were just enough for their perfectly sized snowman.

Now that we've had a taste of how beautiful and fun snow can be... we have begun dreaming of a white Christmas!

  1. Oh my goodness how precious! Seeing the excitement of the window gazers as well as the bigger snowman builders-- I'm so glad I tucked in that container of Hot Cocoa mix into my Christmas box for the Preschool!!--it was a last minute thought that it might be a yummy treat for the kids after being out in the snow! And here it snows there only hours after mailing it. It only serves 39 ... but I hope those littler sweetie at the window get some too. Maybe someone else will mail a container too.
Now I'm excited for a little snow too.
