English Class!

New Day’s English class has been full of excitement! The trick with this batch of students is definitely making learning fun! Songs, games, and movies on Friday help keep the kids motivated… along with the thought of being with their new families in America some day soon! The news of being matched with a family is the most amazing form of encouragement for these kidsJ 

 Alex, Serena, and Hannah boldly march around campus, sharing their new knowledge, and sometimes singing at the top of their lungs!  Emelia, Isaac, and Timothy get to add on to what they are learning in preschool, and practice with the older kids!

Lily has been very happy to get to join in and we love the addition of her infectious smile and laughter! She absolutly loves learning and is always so thrilled that she gets to go, "to class."

The best part, for their teacher, is seeing the joy of her students as they learn that they are matched with families! Preparing the kids for life in a family gives English class all of the momentum it needs!
