When we realized that Serena and Alex were quite similar in their academic level, we were excited for the healthy competition and deep friendship that would form between them as they learned together. These two make up our First Grade class and are both excelling.
Serena, Alex and Hannah have their own little classroom and teachers and love, love, love to learn. They also love to play, so the ample recess time the small class number allows is a huge plus.
In honor of these three fine kiddos, we're going to do a givaway of their personally autographed photos!
Here's how to enter:
1. Comment! It's as simple as that. Tell us how you found out about New Day Foster Home, or if you're a sponsor/adoptive parent. (one entry)
2. Share the NDFH blog link (http://www.newdayfosterhome.blogspot.com/) on twitter or facebook. Leave a comment letting us know that you did this. (one entry)
3. Post about NDFH on YOUR blog. Again, leave us a comment letting us know that you did this and share the link. (one entry)
We'll put all of the entries (up to 3 per person!) in a hat and have someone (maybe one of the kids?) draw a name. You have until October 3rd to get your comment in!

ReplyDeleteI learned about New Day through a blog that I follow. I think it's wonderful how you love the children and take such great care of them! I would love to adopt one of your little bundles of joy, but have a hesitant hubby. Thank you for all you do!!!
ReplyDeleteI learned about New Day about 3.5 years ago when I got to with ORU on a trip there. I shared a link on facebook! I also shared on my blog: http://heatherdelannathoughts.blogspot.com/2011/09/about-new-day-foster-home.html
ReplyDeleteI don´t remember when I found NDFH, but it was amazing. Did you remember Lily? Her family got her referral and they showed her to our group (spanish families who adopt sn chidren), but they didn´t know NDFH. I phoned them a night, I said: I sent a present for you, please open your mail. Her mother and me both began to cry ,,, thrilling..

What a fun idea! We love New Day and the miraculous work you do! We adopted Sarah Mei from New Day in 2008 and are proud sponsors of Jeremy!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE New Day. My husband and I volunteered in 2006 for a couple week and we now sponsor Eliana!
ReplyDeleteI posted about New Day on my facebook!
ReplyDeleteThe kids of NewDay and the peeps who volunteer and work there have frequented my mind everday since I left. I volunteered in the pre-school summer of 2010, and found out about ND through my sister who was working there as an english teacher at the time. My dorm room walls are covered with their photos and my heart even more so. I hope to be back there someday! Although the faces are often changing the love is always the same :D
ReplyDeleteKids are great! Really cool idea!
