Water Babies

We haven't been able to stay out of the pool this summer! The children are always asking to put on their suits and go for a swim, and in this heat, it's really hard to refuse.

Brooke loves the water. She loves getting splashed, splashing others and simply splashing the water. And she looks darling in a bathing cap.

Jace just had some plain ol' fun in the pool. He hung out on his back, tummy, side, and here we see him "floating" in an innter tube. He sure is a big fan of those inner tubes...

Doesn't Jayce make the cutest water baby you've ever seen? He's still finding his walking legs, and he's getting so close! Right now, he's happiest walking with one hand held, but some day in the near future he's going to be making his own tracks. They grow up so fast!

Obviously, some liked the water better than others. Josiah did not enjoy the quick dip that his nanny gave him. On the other hand, Elliot didn't want to get out of the water.

This was Claire's fist time in the pool this summer. She was very happy playing in the water.

Something about the combination of water + Joshua = giggles.

The afternoon preschool class went swimming this afternoon. We plan to have a scrapbook up of that either Tuesday or Wednesday, so keep your eyes peeled!
