Morning Stroll

This is my first week as a New Day intern and so far I’ve been observing each area of the foster home. One of my favorite places is the Healing Home, where babies are sent to recover from medical treatment.

This morning, the nannies at the healing home decided to take the kids to a local park. We had beautiful weather this morning—about 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) with a slight breeze. We encountered a flock of sheep as we walked along the river. The kids waved hello as we passed by but the sheep were busy eating breakfast.

Lucy’s been practicing her walking and had a great time walking around the park. She had fun pushing her stroller around. Camille decided to join in too, but she needed a little more help.

When we got back, we noticed Rosie has been making lots of progress. Since her treatment for hydrocephalus, she’s been much more responsive. She giggles and smiles when we tickle her now.
