Losing Tristan has been terribly hard. Thank you all so much for your prayers and words of encouragement. As you might be able to tell from this post, we're all starting to smile again around here. We have much to be thankful for, and that is keeping us going through this difficult time. We've posted Tristan's memorial card, and next week we will have a small service here at the foster home to remember him. Thank you for your continued thoughts and encouragement.

The babies are SO adorable in their hats...love the "Dr. Seuss" line-up! :) You can just go ahead and pack up the whole floor and send them my way!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Tristan's memorial card is beautiful. I continue to pray for the New Day staff and family as everyone deals with their grief over losing Tristan.
I don't know how you contain yourselves with all those CUTE babies around there!?! Seriously, I just want to jump through the screen! How sweet of YeYe Donnie to send such a nice package for the babies...I love his heart for those babies!
ReplyDeleteAnd SO glad that these Sweeties are helping to put a smile back on your faces. I know it has to be so hard and surely there is a void w/out little Tristan. I seen the Memorial Card last night and it is beautifully done. I'm glad to see that you will be holding a small memorial service in memory of Tristan, and in celebration of his tender young life. He was special to so many and will be surely missed. The only real comfort is knowing that he is no longer an orphan in the arms of his Forever Father! <><
