Smell the Roses

This year's pandemic has affected all outdoor activities. The children's outings have been reduced. The outings that can be arranged are becoming more precious.

Taking advantage of the good weather, the nannies took the children outside to breathe the fresh air and enjoy nature.

The children got ready quickly because they were excited to go outside and see everything. Sam and Titus ran to the front of the group, urging the nannies to come and look at the big trees,  look at the lawn, and listen to the birds in the trees. They would try to startle the birds so they would fly. Then they would cheer and run with their highflying friends.

As the group was looking up trying to locate the singing bird, there was an excited cry from Sam and Titus. "Come look, so beautiful, so many flowers!"

The nannies pushed the other children toward the cheers.

Wow! What a sea of flowers! Many varieties of flowers blooming among the green leaves, all different heights, forming a beautiful picture. The wind blows, and the fragrance of flowers can be smelled.

The children ran happily among the flowers.

The other children, sitting in their wheelchairs, were also attracted by the beauty and fragrance of the flowers. They would reach out to pick a flower and hold it in their hands.

Enjoying the fragrance of flowers

Are you enjoying the scenery?

Am I a red flower in the midst of all these flowers?

Can I take a flower home with me?

Let’s count the leaves

Take our picture

Smell it, it smells good

Who’s hiding behind the flowers?

Take a picture of me with the flowers

Dancing with the flowers

Hugs and flowers- what can be more beautiful?

The children were thankful to be outside enjoying the green trees and flowers in the garden. The fragrance of flowers will trigger happy memories.
