NDNorth: Working with the Older Kids

When we have added hands, we like to do some extra activities at the orphanage. With a team of college students visiting, we were able to spend some time with some of the older, special-needs children at the orphanage.
First, two of the boys give a brief introduction to the playground.

There are explanations about how things work on this apparatus.

A brief stroll in the warm morning air was on the menu for the day.

A little bit of instruction before the games begin.

The wide open spaces are great for walking, running, and kicking. Each one gives their best effort.

As the game gets underway, the competition heats up.

Activity is good for all ages, and these young people clearly enjoyed this opportunity to meet college students and have some fun as well.
