Sunday evening was a very exciting time at New Day South. That was when our little Leila was released from the hospital and came home.
Why is this so exciting, you may ask? If you remember, Leila was admitted to the hospital over 3 months ago on December 26th. In the months she spent there, her chances of ever coming home grew dim. The doctors gave her no hope. They said that children as sick as she was, didn't make it.
We were discouraged with this news, but we were reminded time and time again by New Day's many Amazing Stories that "hope is never gone." Therefore, we kept hoping and anticipating that little Leila would pull through.
She indeed came through. With each passing day, Leila became better and better and exceeded the doctor's expectations. She is not only healthy, but she is healed.
Our little sweetie is home and as you can tell, she looks happy to be here!
Thank you so much for all of you who have been thinking about her these last few months. She truly is a little miracle and we can't wait to see what miracles continue to take place in her little life.

Leila is a miracle! So thankful she had so many around the world lifting her up and pulling her through those dim moments when hope seemed far away. Thank you for the reminder that there is always hope. And Dani is looking so beautiful and confident. New Day is bringing New Days to young and young ladies. :-)
