Sweet Senses

Elizabeth's been learning about the 5 senses in Science class. One of her projects dealing with that had a recipe to make some delicious cookies called "Russian Tea Cakes."

This project used each of the 5 senses.

Touch--mixing the ingredients together with her hands and then rolling them into balls.

Smell--the aroma of these wonderful cookies baking in the oven.

Sight--Wow, look at those beautiful cookies!

Taste--trying them--the best part of all!

Hearing--ok, this one is a bit of a stretch, but hearing everyone say "These are great cookies, Elizabeth!!

She had a great time making these cookies and we all enjoyed eating them too!

  1. I had never thought of cookie making as a five sensory experience before. Elizabeth did a great job!

  2. One of my favorite cookies! Wish I could share one with Elizabeth. She looks darling with a bow!!
