Report from October

Savannah Project and Little Deer Project

(1) Seasonal Activities

Seasonal Classroom

Autumn is a colorful season. Through autumn games, we can help the children make countless discoveries. We can enrich their life experience and inspire them to explore and love nature.

There are many ways to introduce autumn to children, including books and pictures, collecting and sorting fallen leaves, and then going outside to look, touch, pull, dig, put on a hat, or scarf, and truly feel the atmosphere of autumn.

Going Shopping

The children had an interesting practical course - shopping. The children loved it. The shopping process was explained in class then the nannies assigned purchasing tasks, telling the children what they need to buy, and let them know the approximate price. After arriving at the supermarket, they could find what they wanted to buy by themselves. The budget was 20 yuan per person. When they arrived at the supermarket, they were a bit overwhelmed by the dazzling array of products.

James and Theodore purchased their daily needs of yogurt and fruit.

We rode the rocking car and bought potato chips...the children were so happy!

After the hard work of shopping the children asked for a reward-instant noodles with ham + fried eggs

Talent Show

Gabriel has a "good buddy" – Professor Cui. He always calls him "Brother Cui" affectionately, which shows the deep brotherhood between master and apprentice. During the National Holiday, Professor Cui invited Gabriel to attend his wedding. Gabriel blessed Professor Cui and his wife by playing several musical pieces.

(2) Rehabilitation Medical Records

Elizabeth went to Beijing for a post-intestinal surgery checkup on the 27th and came back on the 29th.

Nolan went to Beijing to have his ears checked on the 29th.

(3) Project Development

"New mothers are on the job" Baotou's newly hired nannies have begun their on-the-job training and internship.

Eleos Project

Family Visits

During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, a volunteer team was organized to distribute scholarships and Mid-Autumn moon cakes to represent reunion to the children in the Eleos Project. During the festival of reunion, the children who board at school are more likely to miss their loved ones. To the children, the Mid-Autumn Festival is always a holiday with their loved ones. To prevent the children from being alone, we specially chose to visit them on the Mid-Autumn Festival. Accompanied by volunteers, everyone ate local mooncakes and chatted about their family's current situation. The festive atmosphere was very warm.

Children's progress

Xiao Qi entered the first grade of elementary school in September. Although Xiao Qi's parents are both deaf-mute, they helped Xiao Qi adapt to the new environment quickly. The mother’s eyes are better and the family had an enjoyable festival.

Shuyao's recovery has made great progress. Before the rehabilitation activities of the standing frame, she could only stand on her tiptoes, but now her heels can touch the ground, and her legs are stronger, allowing her to stand for longer periods of time.

Caiyun's last internship has just ended, and she is currently staying at home. She is also evaluating her internship period and thinking about the next step. Everyone also helped her by making suggestions and helping her find new job opportunities.

Huihui entered a local vocational high school in September and is studying accounting.

Thank you for your attention, we believe that life is changed by love!
