As we approached the end of the year and the temperatures dropped,
during this transitional time between the past and the future, we celebrated the year's conclusion with gratitude and joy, exchanging gifts that reflected our appreciation.
At the start of the year, we establish our theme – let us share love, joy, peace, and hope.
Children are at the heart of this mission. Their needs, desires, and heartfelt smiles serve as a constant reminder that our endeavors must cater to individual lives.
Every staff member and volunteer plays a vital role in this mission. They are the ones who ensure that our vision continues to thrive.
As we reflect on Ulanqab, Baotou, Helin, and Qingshuihe—places we have frequented and deeply cared for—we came to understand that this year’s mission was not defined by a singular grand event. Instead, it unfolded through countless meaningful interactions, each one quietly embraced.
PART 1:
Savannah poject - A Place of Hope
Making dumplings together, and cherishing memories side by side.
In our Savannah project, everyone gathered to make dumplings.
Kneading the dough, rolling out the wrappers, and filling the dumplings brought forth a chorus of laughter.
Dumplings symbolize more than just a meal; they embody the spirit of companionship in our daily lives – collaborating, waiting, sitting together, and enjoying a warm feast.
During this shared moment, gifts were exchanged.
The children received their festive blessings, and the devoted mothers were also acknowledged and appreciated.
When the gifts were presented, what was exchanged in that moment went beyond mere objects.

Warmth unfolds in the simplicity of daily life
The children received their gifts, joyfully welcoming the New Year.

The devoted mothers who care for these children were also honored and remembered.
These moments may not be extravagant,
But they are genuine and heartfelt.
Through countless natural interactions,
Warmth enveloped everyone, spreading joy, love, and peace.

PART 3:
Eleos poject for Children in Challenging Circumstances
When dreams are fulfilled, joy blossoms effortlessly
In Horinger and Qingshuihe, gifts were distributed to the children involved in the project.
These gifts are born from the wishes penned by the children themselves, embodying the hopes and aspirations they seldom have the opportunity to realize in their everyday lives.
Aoying was thrilled to receive the camera she had longed for. Afterward, she took a moment to send a heartfelt WeChat message, expressing her warmth and gratitude. She promised to treasure this gift, using it as motivation to move forward while learning to continue spreading love and kindness.
Weixiang received a set of special markers and couldn’t wait to open them and give them a try that very day. Though he isn’t very talkative, his expressive face made his joy unmistakable.
Lele was delighted to get her favorite sticker collection book and even recorded a video to share her appreciation with the uncles and aunts who made it possible.
Jiaxi received her cherished plush toy, along with a scarf and gloves to keep her warm.
We deeply recognize that the true value of these gifts lies not in their cost, but in the heartfelt wishes they represent—aspirations that are often dismissed as "unnecessary" or "not worth the expense" in everyday life.
For this reason, we are profoundly grateful to every kind individual who carefully prepared these gifts. Your efforts have made it possible for the children to feel that their wishes have been acknowledged and fulfilled.
We understand that what is being fulfilled goes beyond mere desires; it is a vital affirmation deep within each child's heart—that their hopes and dreams are valued and taken seriously.
This kind of joy doesn't require grand gestures; it is simply enough to leave a lasting impression in a child's heart for years to come.
