November is Adoption Awareness month in America and we want to take the opportunity to celebrate adoption. We are thrilled to have a guest posts from a few mama's of New Day Graduates! Leyla, mama to Miles, shares her thoughts on adoption:
One word that comes to mind when I think of adoption is adventure.
One word that comes to mind when I think of adoption is adventure.
Wow what an amazing year we have
had with Miles. He is full of life and makes it full. He is a character and
loves to dress up and show off. Adoption has not only changed our immediate family
but our extended family as well. He brings so much joy and laughter to all who
know him.
We are blessed and thankful that the years of wait resulted in Miles.
I think when people meet him they realize that adoption is not so scary and
that it can bring you much love.
