Summer Camp

During the planning phase and content creation, the team made several tweaks to ensure a memorable experience for the children. With this vision in mind, the adventure of the children's summer camp in Beijing commenced.

 

From the instant they arrived at the station, the children, along with their nannies, staff, and volunteers, brimmed with excitement for the adventure that lay ahead. 

Survival Island "Adventure"

At Survival Island, the children immersed themselves in farming, art, and physical activities. Their enthusiasm was evident, and the sheer joy on their faces as they admired the creations they had crafted was truly unforgettable.

They joyfully navigated through the different activities, often bursting into cheers of excitement. Each experience was a first for them, and we hope that these moments will ignite new ideas and expand their perspectives.

Xiao Bao, alongside a volunteer, crafted a clay horse and adorned it with vibrant colors that changed with the light. He held onto his masterpiece with great care, as if it were a precious treasure. In that moment, his heart mirrored the horse, brimming with joy.

 

Physical Challenge

Rock Climbing: As the children gazed up at the towering wall before them, a mix of thoughts raced through their minds. The thrill of approaching the wall, reaching for the rugged holds, and challenging themselves to ascend was an exhilarating experience like no other.

 

Xiao Yang stood quietly in the group, observing his peers with keen interest, mentally cheering them on while wondering if he could also scale such heights. When his turn finally came, he put on his safety gear and gracefully ascended the wall. Cheers erupted from below as he became the first child in the group to conquer the 5-meter mark that day! With a gentle landing, he turned to us, and we rushed over to congratulate him, brimming with excitement. “Wow, you climbed so high! That’s beyond our wildest dreams!” we exclaimed. "You’re so brave! What was it like up there?" Xiao Yang replied shyly, “My hands and feet were shaking, but it felt amazing!”

Fun Games

During the ring-tossing game, we noticed a determined young man in the crowd. Xiaoming had his heart set on winning a white bobble-head goose. Gripping the ring tightly, he exclaimed, "I want the goose!" Despite his initial failures, he regrouped and took his place in line once more. With each attempt, he focused intently, launching the ring toward the goose... I lost count of how many times he missed, but each time, he promptly returned to the group, fueled by hope and ready for the next chance.

Under the scorching sun, Xiaoming’s face glistened with sweat, yet he remained determined. Suddenly, jubilant cheers erupted from those around him—Xiaoming had finally captured the white goose he had been yearning for! In that instant, witnesses reported that he soared into the air, leaping high with a triumphant shout of "Yeah!" This was the purest embodiment of dreams realized through hard work. May you also chase your aspirations with the same fervor in the future!

During the treasure hunt, the children, along with young volunteers, embarked on a quest for hidden treasures while sharing their experiences and discoveries. This engaging interaction allowed the children to connect with one another, appreciate the unique qualities within their peer group, and tap into their creative thinking to forge new friendships and strengthen relationships.

Civil Aviation Museum

On the lawn of West Lake Garden, the sound of airplanes soaring overhead and the sight of massive aircraft ignited waves of excitement and cheers from the children.

After departing from the Civil Aviation Museum, they released paper airplanes adorned with their dreams. Beneath the expanse of blue sky and fluffy white clouds, their bright eyes shimmered with boundless hope and anticipation.

Outdoors, the children embraced the opportunity to become more self-sufficient and work together as a team. Over the course of the three-day summer camp, they forged strong bonds with one another. It was truly heartwarming to witness their kindness as they looked out for each other and offered support. As the summer camp ended, the children remained enveloped in the joy of their shared experiences.
