Savannah Project Expansion

We are grateful for the support from friends that enables us to serve more children with special needs.

In the project, we have excellent, dedicated, and professional caregivers. Under their care there has been improvement in the children’s nutrition, physical and mental growth. This has been recognized by our partner orphanage. The changes in the children is obvious to all.

There are still more children in need of high-quality care, so starting this month we are preparing to welcome more children with special needs into the Savannah Project. Let me introduce you to three new children.

Our relationship with these three started years ago. When they first arrived at the orphanage, they joined our formula project. Now they are joining the Savannah Project where we will have total care of them.

Madeline

Madeline

Five-year-old girl

Madeline is five years old this year, is a smart, quiet, and well-behaved little girl.

When we were asked to bring Madeline into the Savannah Project by the orphanage we checked in our records. We discovered that when Madeline first arrived at the orphanage she was part of our formula project. Then we found her photos in our archives. Isn’t she cute?

From September 2016 to September 2017, Madeline was in our formula project

Today, Madeline is still a sweet and lovely little girl with a bright smile always on her face. She likes to play games with others. She likes when her nanny reads and studies with her. She enjoys helping the other children. She also likes to help her nanny clean the table and clean up toys.

We hope that Madeline will blossom in her development after coming to the Savannah Project.

David

David

Three-year-old boy

David is lively, active, smart, and generous. He likes to communicate and play with the other children. Every time he sees his nanny, he will greet her saying, "Mum, good morning!"

With a lively personality, he is always on the move. He follows the other children talking the whole time. He is full of curiosity about everything. He loves to laugh and everyone says that looking at David’s smile can heal everything.

From November 2018 to January 2020 David was in our formula project

David is very good at imitating. He loves to dance, twisting his body and waving his small hands. He is a joyful little boy.

We hope that David will thrive in our family!

Tyler

Tyler

Under one year old boy

Tyler is under one year old and so he is still receiving formula provided by our formula project. When he arrived at the orphanage and joined our formula project, he was very weak. It is fulfilling to see him becoming stronger and stronger.  We have witnessed how tenacious Tyler is.

Tyler joined our formula project in December 2020

Tyler is the youngest in the Savannah Project. Upon arriving at the project, he was a little unfamiliar with the new environment and people. He would stare at his nanny with wide eyes. His nanny paid special attention to him, establishing a close attachment with him. When his nanny held him in her arms and teased him, he finally smiled happily. After a few days, he became attached to his nanny. He likes to be held and explore his surroundings with his eyes.

With gentle care, we believe that Tyler will have a life journey full of joy and happiness!

Special thanks to all the friends who care about, participate in, and support the formula and Savannah Projects. Your love and care have released hope for the children's journey through life. A life with endless possibilities!
