At the end of April
in 2015 a little girl arrived a New Day Foster Home in need of heart surgery.
She was 7 months old and we named her Josie.
Now, that little
girl is 3 1/2 years old, full of life, and has been named Hannah by her forever
family.
Hannah quickly stole
her nannies' hearts with her huge smile. We loved watching her grow and we were
able to see her personality shine as she grew more comfortable with her
surroundings.
In August of 2015
Hannah was able to have the heart surgery she desperately needed. We were so
glad that this sweet girl was now on the road to recovery.
After her surgery
Hannah continued to blossom. It was an honor to watch her grow and to celebrate
each milestone with her.
Hannah celebrated
her first birthday and Christmas and shortly after she was able to join a local
foster family.
Hannah thrived in
her foster family and we loved seeing her when she came to visit with her
foster mama.
After Hannah's 2nd
birthday she was able to begin attending preschool. Hannah especially loved
snack time!
In the past year
we've seen Hannah grow even more. She has always been full of joy and we have
watched her grow in confidence.
Her smile and giggle are contagious and are something that we will all miss as she leaves to join her forever family.
We are so excited
for Hannah and know that her joy will only continue to spread as she joins her
very own family.
