About six months ago Ella was admitted into the hospital for a GI procedure. While she was at the hospital she went into respiratory distress and it was touch-and-go but they did the procedure anyways and Ella has not had any (dangerously) close calls since!
But, while she was at the hospital, Ella got a haircut. A shave, actually.
This week, finally finally her hair has grown long enough for pigtails again, and we're not the only ones happy about it!
Leah and Laura, two of Ella's nannies, were excited to do up Ella's hair, and took such care to do so.
Doesn't she look lovely? We're so proud of Ella and her fighter's spirit. She could have given up long ago, but with lots of love and care, she knows that she's special to us and so she keeps on fighting.
